Welcome to my site! My name is Mrs. Sheri Rodriguez. I am married to Darrell Rodriguez and I have two daughters, Kaitlyn & Hailey. We live in Plainview, Louisiana with our two yorkies: Chloe' and Roxie. I also have three step-children: April, Heather & Slade; a granddaughter named Darian and a grandson named Jackson!
I graduated from Northwestern State University in December of 2005- highly qualified to teach grades 1-8. I immediately went to work at Oakdale Elementary, teaching 3rd grade ELA. In the summer of 2006, I accepted a job at Plainview High School, teaching 4th & 5th grade ELA where I am presently employed.
Teaching is my passion! I love to watch students as they learn and grow. I am always trying new, fun and exciting strategies in my classroom because I believe that learning can be fun.

A $10.00 supply fee is due at the beginning of the school year.
- 2" binder (zipper preferred)
- 3 boxes of #2 pencils
- 1 pencil bag for binder
- 1 pkg. binder tabs
- 1 box crayons (24 count)
- 1 pkg. colored pencils
- 1 pair scissors
- 1 glue stick
- 1 ruler (centimeters & inches)
- 4 pkgs. loose leaf paper
- 4 1 subject notebooks (10 for a dollar is great!)
- 2 boxes kleenex
- 8 folders with prongs (plastic preferred)
- 1 Block eraser
